Platform Migrations
Moving platform shouldn't cost you rankings
Most migrations lose something on the way across. Rankings go because nobody mapped the redirects, content gets flattened into pages by copy-and-paste, and the team ends up with a CMS they like less than the one they left. None of it shows up until weeks after launch, when it's expensive to unpick.
We plan migrations so nothing is lost in the move. The content, the rankings and your team's ability to edit the site all arrive intact.
What is a website platform migration?
A platform migration moves a website from one system to another, in our case to Webflow, keeping the content, the search rankings and the team's ability to edit it. The build is rarely the risky part. The risk lives in the redirects, the metadata and the CMS structure, which quietly break when a migration is treated as a copying job.
How we work
Every existing URL is mapped before anything is built, so the redirect plan exists from day one rather than launch week. Content is modelled into a proper CMS instead of being pasted into pages, and metadata, structured data and analytics move across with it. Launch is staged, checked in Search Console, and watched for the weeks that follow, because that's when migration problems surface if they're going to.
Case study: Steamhaus
Steamhaus moved from CraftCMS to Webflow with no visual regression. The GSAP animations that defined the brand came across intact, tracking carried over for data continuity, and a team that had been locked out of its own site got full control of it.

What's included
A migration covers a full URL inventory and redirect map, CMS content modelling and migration, metadata and structured data transfer, analytics and tracking reinstalled, a staged launch with Search Console monitoring, and training so your team is at home in the new CMS. Fixed scope and price, agreed before work starts.
Outcomes
The week after launch should look like the week before it: same rankings, same traffic, same content, on a platform your team can finally edit without a developer in the loop. Migrations are judged on what doesn't change as much as on what does.
