Design Systems
Every new page starts from scratch
Some sites are built as a set of pages, and it shows later. Every new landing page starts from scratch, small changes take longer than they should, and the design drifts a little further from the brand with each one. The site works, but every campaign has become a small development project.
A design system turns that site into a kit of parts your team can build with, quickly and without breaking anything.
What is a website design system?
A design system is the set of reusable parts a website is built from: spacing, type, colour, components, and the rules for using them. With one in place, a marketing team can assemble a new page from existing pieces in an afternoon and trust it will still look like the brand. Without one, every page is a fresh start and the site slowly drifts.
How we work
The system gets built before the pages. Tokens first, then components with plain notes on when to use each one, then page templates assembled from them. Everything is named so a marketer can find it and documented so an AI editor can follow it. The test we hold ourselves to is simple: someone on your team should be able to build a competent landing page without asking us. Until they can, the system isn't finished.
Case study: Buff Motion
Buff Motion's 2023 site had drifted: mismatched type, hundreds of classes, every update a judgement call. The 2026 rebuild put a component library underneath everything, with one Lottie component and a campaign pages CMS, so consistency is enforced by structure and the marketing team ships without us.

What's included
A design system covers tokens (spacing, type, colour) as Webflow variables, a component library with usage notes, page templates, a style guide page, and an agent rules file so AI-assisted edits follow the system too. It works on a new build or retrofitted to an existing Webflow site.
Outcomes
New pages take hours rather than weeks, and the brand holds whether a person or an AI tool is doing the editing. Requests to the agency get rarer, which is how it should be. The system exists so your team doesn't need us for the everyday.
