Performance Reporting
Most reports stop where the thinking should start
Most reporting describes what happened. Traffic went up or it didn't, conversions moved or they held, and the report ends where the thinking should begin. Somebody still has to work out what it all means and what to do about it, and that somebody is usually you.
We write the report that does that work: what changed, why it changed, and where next month's effort should go.
What is performance reporting for a website?
Performance reporting is the monthly account of what a website did, what changed, and what that means for the month ahead. A useful report is short. It names the one or two things that moved, explains why they moved, and ends with a recommendation someone can act on without opening a dashboard.
How we work
Once a month we put one page in front of you: traffic and conversions against the month before, the changes we shipped and what they did, how the site is showing up in search and in AI assistants, and what we plan to do next, with the reasoning. It's written so a founder or CMO can read it in five minutes and forward it to the board without editing a line. The detail sits behind it in a live dashboard, for anyone who wants to check our working.
Case study: Buff Motion
Buff Motion's rebuild included a UTM attribution dashboard for the marketing team, so they can see which campaigns and channels are working without leaving the stack or asking us.

What's included
Performance reporting is part of the Optimisation retainer, from £5,000 a month. Each month covers traffic, conversions, search and AEO visibility, the changes shipped and their effect, and the plan for the month ahead. A live PostHog dashboard sits behind the report for anyone who wants the detail.
Outcomes
The aim is a team that knows what its site is doing without opening five tools, and numbers that arrive with the story already attached. Over time the site gets managed the way the rest of the business is: reviewed monthly, adjusted monthly, and never left to drift until the next rebuild.
