2. What data we collect

We collect and process the following personal data:

a) Through our free tools

• Email address (required to unlock your full report)
• Company name (required)
• Website URL you submitted for analysis
• Analysis results and scores generated by the tool
• Whether you opted in to our mailing list
• Timestamp of your submission

b) Through our website

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL
• Usage data: pages visited, time spent, interactions

c) When you contact us

• Name and email address
• Any information you choose to include in your message

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

• To provide our tools: Processing your website URL and delivering your analysis report. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• To contact you about your results: We may follow up with insights related to your report or how we can help. Legal basis: consent (GDPR checkbox).
• To send marketing communications: Only if you opted in to our mailing list. We send tips on PLG, web strategy, and what's working for other companies. Legal basis: consent.
• To improve our services: Analysing aggregate usage patterns to make our tools better. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• To manage our business: Keeping records, managing leads in our CRM. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

4. Where we store your data

Your data is stored in the following systems:

• ClickUp (our CRM/project management tool) — for lead management. ClickUp's servers are located in the US and are covered by appropriate safeguards.
• Vercel (our hosting provider) — for serving the tools and processing requests. Vercel operates globally with appropriate data protection measures.
• Anthropic (AI provider) — website content you submit is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic processes this data in the US under their data processing terms. We do not send your personal data (email, company name) to Anthropic — only the website URL content.

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. How long we keep your data

• Tool submissions and lead data: retained for up to 24 months from collection, or until you request deletion
• Mailing list subscribers: until you unsubscribe
• Website analytics data: up to 26 months (aggregated and anonymised where possible)
• Business correspondence: up to 6 years for legal and accounting purposes

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data
