The Problem

Steamhaus is an AWS consultancy helping businesses build, migrate, and optimise cloud infrastructure. Their expertise is unlocking flexibility for clients—but their own website was anything but flexible.

Built on CraftCMS, the site had become a bottleneck. Design changes required developer involvement. Adding new pages meant waiting on external support. Even simple content updates felt harder than they should be.

For a team that prides itself on enabling autonomy for others, being locked out of their own digital presence was frustrating.

The Discovery

This was a straightforward 1:1 migration brief. Steamhaus knew exactly what they needed: their existing site, rebuilt in Webflow, with the freedom to actually use it.

The technical scope was clear:

  • Migrate the design faithfully
  • Preserve the GSAP animations
  • Set up proper tracking and analytics
  • Hand over the keys
The Solution

We rebuilt Steamhaus’s site in Webflow with a component-first architecture designed for their team’s independence.

The build included:

  • Full CMS structure giving their team control over pages, content, and site sections without touching code
  • GSAP animation migration preserving the smooth interactions from the original build
  • Component-first approach with every property their team might need exposed in the Webflow Editor—no guesswork, no limitations
  • Tracking and analytics setup ensuring continuity with their existing data
  • Hands-on training so the team could confidently manage and extend the site themselves

The goal wasn’t just to rebuild what they had. It was to rebuild it in a way that meant they’d never feel locked out again.

The Results

Steamhaus now has full control over their website—design changes, new pages, and content updates all happen without developer dependency.
